General Laborer

Pay : $15/hr (Based on experience)

Location : On-Site (Various Project Locations)

Additional Compensation : Mileage reimbursement for travel between project locations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks, such as bending, lifting, and carrying. 
  • Comfortable working in outdoors, heights, and in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites.
  • Ability to use basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively.

  • Description text goWe are seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to join our construction business. As a General Laborer, you will play a key role in assisting with the physical aspects of construction projects, performing a variety manual tasks under the direction of the Project Manager. You will help with the construction process, from prepping the site to building and finishing tasks, while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. es here

    • Help with physical labor on construction sites, including tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, loading/unloading materials, and operating basic tools.

    • Assist with setup and teardown of construction equipment and temporary structures on the job site.

    • Follow instructions from the Project Manager and other team members to perform various construction duties (e.g., mixing concrete, framing, assisting with other project tasks.

    • Prepare work sites by clearing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring the work area is safe and organized.

    • Perform routine site clean-up, removing scrap materials and trash, and ensuring the job site is tidy at the end of each workday.

    • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from the work area as needed.

      • Ensure that materials are properly stored and accounted for on-site.

    • Maintain a safe working environment by following safety guidelines and protocols (including wearing protective gear)

    • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting the Project Manager and other crew members as needed.

      • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment, as instructed.

      • Assist in the setup and takedown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.

    • Travel to various job sites as needed, with mileage reimbursed for travel between project locations.

    • Maintain flexibility for different work sites as determined by the project schedule.
